Colega needs a connected Facebook Page and Instagram professional account to publish posts for you.
To connect accounts:
- Open the Profile tab.
- Tap Organization Settings.
- Tap Connected Social Accounts.
- Follow the Meta login flow.
The connection page has two steps and both are required — it is not a choice between them:
- Log in to Instagram or Facebook in a new tab. Meta will not let Colega connect unless you are already signed in there.
- Come back to the Colega tab and press Connect. Meta then asks you to approve Colega, and the connection completes.
If you are already signed in, you can use the Skip to step 2 link and go straight to Connect.
If a pop-up ever asks to open the Instagram or Facebook app, choose Cancel and stay in your browser — the connection can only finish in the browser.
If connection fails, check that:
- You are logged into the correct Meta account.
- Your Instagram account is a professional account.
- Your Instagram account is linked to the Facebook Page you want to use.
- You accepted the Meta permissions shown during setup.
You can still create drafts before connecting accounts, but publishing requires the connection.
