Open Post Calendar, then tap the + below a future date or the persistent Add post button. The date button uses that day; Add post starts with tomorrow selected.
Instagram and Facebook are selected together by default. They use the same media, caption, and posting time. If you want different versions, create one platform-specific post first, then create the other separately.
You can:
- Add media from uploads, your media library, AI generation, or product/service media
- Create an Instagram carousel with up to 10 photos and videos in any mix
- Create a Facebook post with up to 10 photos or one video; Facebook's publishing API cannot mix photos and videos or publish multiple videos in one post
- Drag media into the exact order that will be published
- Write a caption, generate one from your media and optional instructions, or modify existing text with AI
- Preview the Instagram and Facebook versions
- Post now or choose a suggested/custom date and time
Instagram requires at least one photo or video, videos must be at least 3 seconds long, and captions are limited to 2,200 characters. Facebook can publish a caption-only post. When both platforms are selected, the shared post must follow Facebook's media restrictions. Colega shows these limits before you submit.
The same media rules and warnings apply when you share a generated post or ask Chat to publish one.
Direct publishing and scheduling require a paid plan and a valid connected Instagram or Facebook account.
